The Ontario One Call: Garden Giveaway! (the "Sweepstakes") are sponsored by Ontario One Call.

1. ELIGIBILITY:

To enter and be eligible to win, a person must be a legal resident of Ontario, Canada who has reached the age of majority at time of entry in the jurisdiction in which he/she resides and who is not an employee, representative or agent of the Sponsor, its Sweepstakes administrator, or their affiliated and related companies and, if applicable, their respective advertising or promotion agencies, dealers, and members of the immediate families of, or persons domiciled with any of the above. In these Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations, “immediate family” means mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and/or legal or common-law spouse.

2. HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase required. Entrants may enter online though the Ontario One Call Facebook page located at https://www.facebook.com/ON1Call/. To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the Ontario One Call Facebook page and click on the Sweepstakes link. Follow the on-screen directions to complete and submit your entry information as explained on the form, including providing first and last name and email address. Entrant agrees to be bound by the Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address. If it is discovered that more than one entry is obtained from the same person or same email address (not including bonus entries), all entries obtained from such person or from such email address will be disqualified. Entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt by Sponsor. Entries made through any robotic, automatic, mechanical, programmed or similar entry duplication method are ineligible and will be disqualified. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual and all entries using such method. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entry, such entry will be deemed made by the person named on the entry form. Any entries not in conformance with these Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations will be disqualified.

BONUS ENTRIES

Participants can obtain one (1) bonus entry per action of any of the following: sign up for future communication from Ontario One Call (the Sweepstakes sponsor), for a maximum of 1 bonus entry over the course of the entire Sweepstakes period.

The odds of winning will depend on the number of valid entries received.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:

The Sweepstakes begins on July 12, 2019 at 12:00 PM EST and ends July 31, 2019 at 11:59 PM EST (the “Sweepstakes End Date”). Entries that are submitted before the Sweepstakes begins or after the Sweepstakes end date will be disqualified. Submissions will be accepted for the duration of the Sweepstakes online.

4. PRIZING:

There will be one (1) grand prize awarded which will consist of one (1) $100 Sheridan Nurseries Gift Card, valued at $100 (CDN). To the extent permitted by law, the Sponsor makes no express or implied warranties, or conditions of any kind with respect to the safety, appearance or performance of any Prize. Prize must be accepted as awarded without substitution, are not transferable, not for resale and have no cash surrender value. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Prize or any component of a Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another prize of equal or greater value without liability.

5. DRAW:

A random draw (the "Draw") will take place on or around August 6, 2019 in Burlington, ON from among all eligible entries received by the Sweepstakes Closing Dates. The odds of being selected for a Prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received by the Sweepstakes Closing Dates. The selected entrant will be contacted by email within three (3) business days of the Draw Date. If the selected entrant (a) cannot be reached by email within three (3) business days of being selected after reasonable attempts; (b) fails to correctly answer the skill testing question (see rule 6); or (c) fails to return the properly executed Release Form within the specified time (see rule 5), then he/she will be disqualified and another entrant may (at the discretion of the Sponsor) be randomly selected until such time as contact is made by email with a selected entrant or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first. The Sponsor will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.

6. To be declared a Prize winner, the selected entrant must first correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a mathematical skill-testing question posed in the Release Form. The selected entrant will also be required to sign a declaration and release form (the "Release Form") confirming compliance with the Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations, acceptance of the Prize as awarded, without substitution, and releasing the Sponsor, their independent Sweepstakes organization, and their affiliated and related companies, their dealers, and their respective shareholders, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, and, if applicable, their respective advertising or promotion agencies from any liability in connection with the Prize or this Sweepstakes. The Release Form must be returned within the time period specified on the Release Form or the Prize may be forfeited. Prizes will be shipped to the confirmed winner by the Sponsor to the address on the Release Form within six (6) weeks of being confirmed a winner. Limit of one (1) Prize per person.

7. NAME/IMAGE OF WINNERS:

By entering the Sweepstakes, the winner consents to the use of his/her name, address (city and province) and/or photograph without further remuneration, in connection with any publicity carried out by or on behalf of the Sponsor with respect to this Sweepstakes.

8. The Sponsor and its Sweepstakes administrator accept no responsibility for loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the Sweepstakes or acceptance of any Prize.

9. The Sponsor’s independent Sweepstakes administrator and Facebook are not responsible for: (i) entries which fail to comply with these Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations and all such entries are void; or (ii) any failure of the Sweepstakes Website during the Sweepstakes, including any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from downloading any material in the Sweepstakes, all of which may affect a person's ability to participate in the Sweepstakes. Entry data that has been tampered with or altered are void. In the event it is determined that an entrant has entered in a fashion not sanctioned by the Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations, the entrant will be disqualified and all of the entries submitted by the entrant will be disqualified.

10. The Sponsor reserves the right for any reason, to terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes or to amend the Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations at any time and in any way, without prior notice. Without limiting the foregoing, if, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, the Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Sweepstakes and conduct a draw from all previously eligible entries received by the Sweepstakes Closing Date. The Sponsor and its Sweepstakes administrator shall not be held responsible for any problems, errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Sweepstakes.

11. In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the person who is assigned an email address by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder associated with the email address at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry name change. The sole determinant of the time for the purposes of a valid entry in this Sweepstakes will be the Sweepstakes server machine(s).

13. All entries become the permanent property of the Sponsor and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law and is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.

14. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and Regulations and disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes related materials (including, but not limited to: point of sale, television, print or online advertising), the terms and conditions of these Official Sweepstakes Rules & Regulations shall prevail, govern and control.

15. Personal information: By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to the Sponsor, the independent Sweepstakes organization, their agents and/or representatives storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with his/her entry.

16. The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
